A new rail network will connect the southern tip of Florida to the center of the state, and SOM just revealed the latest plans for the Ft. Lauderdale Station. All Aboard Florida is a privately owned rail line that will start in Miami at the Multimodal Hub, then travel north through Ft. Lauderdale, West Palm Beach and up to Orlando. SOM is working with local architect Zyscovich Architects to design this and all the other stations. These naturally daylit and airy structures will serve as the perfect launching pads for travel up and down the Florida coast for visitors and locals alike.
