On Monday, April 22nd, Consulting Partner Philip Enquist will host a Video Walk focused on the Great Lakes with Rick Valicenti, founder of Chicago-based communication design practice Thirst. The event is part of Earth Day programming for "Today at Apple," a series of hands-on creative events hosted at Apple flagship stores around the world.
In this free event, which begins at Apple Michigan Avenue in Chicago, Enquist and Valicenti will lead participants on an educational 2-mile walk to the shores of Lake Michigan. The two will then assist participants in creating a short video using Apple technology to help raise awareness for the preservation of the Great Lakes. Attendees are invited to bring their own Apple devices or use a device provided by Apple.
Enquist plays a key leadership role in SOM's Global City Design Practice, one of the world’s most awarded urban planning groups. Throughout his career, Enquist has led efforts to preserve and enhance watersheds around the world, including a 100-year vision for the Great Lakes known as the Great Lakes Century Vision Plan.
