On Wednesday, November 29th, SOM Director of Urban Design and Planning Peter Kindel will join a panel discussion hosted by National Geographic. The event, titled “Urban Expeditions: Exploring Sustainable City Solutions,” will take place in Hong Kong.
The second in a series, this event is part of a larger two-year Urban Expeditions initiative supported by United Technologies. The initiative centers on an exploration of sustainable urbanization through a discussion of the groundbreaking solutions that are supporting vibrant and healthy futures in cities around the world. Panelists will discuss the visionaries behind these pioneering breakthroughs, as well as the social, environmental, and economic value of sustainability.
