On Monday March 22nd, Mina Hasman, Associate Director and Sustainability Lead at SOM, will speak at a panel event at the 2021 Middle East and Africa Green Building Congress held on March 22nd and 23rd.
During this virtual two-day business forum leading corporations, government agencies will share the latest green building trends and knowledge throughout the architecture and construction industry, both regionally and globally. Best practices and regional case studies will also be shared to collectively respond to challenges facing the region.
In the panel, "Is Net Zero Embodied Carbon Within Reach?", the conversation will evolve around the value of embodied carbon, and what systemic changes are needed to create & stimulate market demand for transparency, improvements, & verification towards decarbonization across the buildings sector in MEA.
