Kristopher Takács Speaks at Two Conferences on Transit-Oriented Development

SOM Associate Director Kristopher Takács spoke at two recent conferences on transit-oriented development, highlighting SOM's leadership in planning and designing urban infrastructure for the next century.

On Wednesday, October 21, 2015, Takács gave a presentation at the Transit Oriented Development Institute in Washington, D.C, focusing on national trends in transit-oriented development through the lens of SOM's planning and urban infrastructure projects in Miami, Philadelphia and Denver. 

On Friday, October 16, 2015, at the American Council of Engineering Companies Conference in Boston, Takács presented SOM's Denver Union Station redevelopment project. The talk highlighted the collaboration between architecture and engineering to transform an existing station into a 21st-century transit hub.
