Halcon Unveils SOM-Designed MESA Conferencing System

Chicago, IL: Halcon is proud to announce the launch of Mesa Conferencing, designed in collaboration with SOM’s Interiors Studio.

MESA pairs integrated technology with a clean, modern aesthetic that supports the connectivity needs of contemporary conference spaces. Key design components include table surfaces with cantilevered spans that are engineered to maximize leg room, and a continuous edge reveal which allows cables to route from a concealed drawer, thereby eliminating the typical mess of wires.

“MESA is a line of incredibly beautiful conference tables that are smartly engineered to improve the user experience.” says Ben Conway, President, Halcon. “The functional and aesthetic advantages will resonate with designers and end-users.”

Last November, the MESA table was selected as Interior Design Magazine’s 2012 Best of Year Winner in the contract tables category.
