On Friday, October 23rd, SOM Project Manager Danei Cesario will participate in a roundtable discussion as part of the 2020 New York City Architecture Biennial (NYCAB) Conference. The free, three-day virtual lecture series will feature conversations with architecture and urban design professionals, and will be available in Mandarin, Spanish, and English.

In the roundtable, Cesario and other participants will discuss the NYCAB theme of the year, "Social Inclusion in the Workplace and Design," followed by a Q&A discussion with the audience. Cesario' s work in architecture and advocacy—as well as her extensive experience working in diverse, global environments—has led her to become a champion for design professionals and equitable practice, and a sought-after speaker.

Cesario will be joined by Laurie Hawkinson, co-founder of SM+H and Professor of Architecture at Columbia University; Ronnette Riley, Owner of Ronnette Riley Architect; Maria R. Perbellini, Dean of the School of Architecture and Design (SoAD) at the New York Institute of Technology; and Joan Krevlin, Partner at BKSK Architects. The event will be moderated by NYCAB advisory board members Lance Jay Brown, Rick Bell, and JJ Falk.
