SOM Design Director Dan Ringelstein will speak at the BuiltWorlds Summit Paris conference on June 28th. He will take part in a panel discussion called “Toward Truly Smarter Cities,” exploring new approaches to city design.
On the panel, Ringelstein will discuss how master planning has become focused on developing flexible frameworks that can meet changing demands. New technology can help cities meet the challenges of managing waste, water, energy, mobility, and urban infrastructure. The discussion will explore how these approaches are being implemented in projects that have the potential to revolutionize urban development.
BuiltWorlds is a professional network fueling the conversation on emerging technology and new approaches in buildings and infrastructure. It includes a wide community of the industry’s leading companies, startups, and thought leaders who drive innovation in the built environment.
The Paris Summit will focus on how innovations like AI, robotics, and smart buildings are changing the way we work, the role of venture funds in the construction world, and more.
