On Thursday, June 21st, SOM Lead Designer Carlos Madrid III will participate in a panel discussion in Los Angeles. Titled "Hacking the Highrise @ Wells Fargo Center," the discussion will explore the benefits of designing commercial spaces that connect building tenants to each other, and to surrounding neighborhoods. Panelists will share insight on a number of current Brookfield Properties projects that integrate communal spaces, infrastructure, technology, and cultural programming into their design.
The Downtown Center Business Improvement District (DCBID) and Brookfield Properties are hosting the event, which is designed for brokers and prospective tenants. Nicholas Ziff Griffin, DCBID's Senior Vice President of Economic Development, will moderate the discussion. The panel will include several Brookfield representatives, including Executive VP for the Western Region Bert Dezzutti; Leasing Director Rachael Zanetos; Leasing Manager Marin Turney; Senior Director of Marketing Patrice Hopper; and Program Manager of Arts Erica Overskei. Convene's Regional VP of Operations, Derek Damon, will also participate in the panel. The one-hour program will be followed by a reception.
