Moynihan Train Hall, One Manhattan West, and the National Museum of the United States Army have all been honored in this year's Architizer A+ Awards.
Moynihan Train Hall, the monumental civic project that transformed the James A. Farley Post Office into a rail hub and extension to Penn Station, won the Popular Choice vote in the 'Transportation Infrastructure' category, and finished as a finalist in the 'Transport Interiors' category.
One Manhattan West, the largest and most recognizable building in the 7 million-square-foot Manhattan West Development, was selected as a finalist in the 'Office – High Rise (16+ Floors)' category.
The National Museum of the United States Army received a Special Mention in the Museum category. The museum is designed to serve as the symbolic front door to the oldest branch of the U.S. military, and focuses first and foremost on the story of the individual soldier.
