Aaron May to Join Panel at ULI Spring Meeting

On Thursday, May 3rd, SOM Associate Director Aaron May will join a panel discussion at the 2018 Spring Meeting of the Urban Land Institute. Titled “Detroit’s Riverfront as Economic Development Driver,” the discussion centers on the evolving role of the riverfront in terms of its history, its current growth, and its relation to the city’s broader economic development goals. ?

May will share insight on SOM’s designs for the Detroit East Riverfront Framework Plan, an initiative spearheaded by the City of Detroit and the Detroit RiverFront Conservancy, and development planning along the riverfront. 

Joining May on the panel will be Kate Collignon, Partner, HR&A; Mark Wallace, President & CEO, Detroit RiverFront Conservancy; Steve Lewis, City of Detroit Planning and Development Department; and Mark Wallace, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Detroit RiverFront Conservancy.?
