On Tuesday, December 4th, SOM Managing Partner Xuan Fu was honored at Bisnow’s inaugural Chicago Power Women summit. The event celebrated leading female business executives for their notable contributions in the commercial real estate industry, as well as for their work to promote equal access in their fields. Fu was honored alongside leaders from across the design and development industries.
Fu was joined at the event by SOM colleagues, including many leaders of SOM’s Women’s Initiative (SOMWI). SOMWI was established in 2011 to cultivate and promote the continued development and success of women at SOM and within the design disciplines. SOM attendees included Associate Directors Arathi Gowda, Jeannette Peruchini, and Jennifer Skowlund; Associates Maria Palencia and Seanna Walsh; and Lin Zhou, Project Manager.
