Twelve SOM Leaders to Speak at CTBUH 2016 International Conference in China

SOM's leadership in skyscraper and urban design will once again be represented at the annual global conference of the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH), which takes place on October 16–21 in China and is open for registration.

The theme of CTBUH 2016, "Cities to Megacities: Shaping Dense Vertical Urbanism," explores the real impact of density, vertical growth, and concentrated urban infrastructure in China and around the world. For the first time, the conference will be held in three cities—Shenzhen, Guangzhou, and Hong Kong—which form part of the Pearl River Delta region, an area in which SOM has designed many projects. The line-up of nine SOM presentations in Shenzhen and Guangzhou on October 17th, 18th, and 19th is scheduled as follows:
