The American Public Works Association (APWA), San Diego and Imperial Counties Chapter, has selected the Superior Court of California in San Diego for a 2018 Outstanding Award. The honor, which is part of the APWA 2018 Awards program, will be presented at the chapter's monthly meeting on Thursday, May 24th, at the Paradise Point Resort in San Diego.
The Superior Court of California in San Diego consolidates San Diego County's criminal trial, family, and civil courts into a 25-story downtown tower. It is clad in precast concrete and a fritted glass curtain wall, with a podium at the entrance and an aluminum paneled soffit at its crown.
The San Diego and Imperial Counties Chapter of the APWA aims to promote and improve local public works projects. The larger APWA supports public works throughout North America and has more than 30,000 members worldwide.
