The Los Angeles Business Council (LABC) and Westside Urban Forum have each recognized the Sunset La Cienega Residences as a winner of their annual award programs.
SOM collaborated with Lorcan O’Herlihy Architects to design the mixed-used development located in the heart of the iconic Sunset Strip in Los Angeles. The project, comprising two residential towers, overlooks 30,000 square feet of retail space, an outdoor plaza, and underground parking. The Sunset La Cienega Hotel, also designed by SOM, adds to the area’s appeal with its location across the street.
The LABC’s Architectural Awards Program honors innovative local projects that advance the city through their joint consideration of social issues and physical infrastructure.
The Westside Urban Forum facilitates discussions about land-use issues effecting Los Angeles’ Westside. Its award program began in 2003.
