LA Live/Staples center owner AEG (which also runs the LA Convention Center and various concert promoters) is officially moving into South Park's Desmond warehouse building and the mega-company has big plans for the 98-year-old building. AEG's new landlord, Lincoln Property Company, is now converting the building—originally a car dealership/assembly plant—into creative office space and adding ground-level storefronts, including a cafe; they'll also add a sixth story in the form of a glass pavilion on top of the existing roof.
