On February 25th, SOM Associate Directors Kristopher Takács and Olin McKenzie will present and discuss the design of All Aboard Florida at the Center for Architecture in New York City. The 235-mile rail network will connect South Florida to Central Florida, providing a vital new service for Florida residents and visitors while eliminating more than three million car trips from the region’s roadways each year.
The event is organized by the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee of the New York Chapter of the American Institute of Architects, which focuses on planning, architectural design, technical, and policy issues related to transportation and infrastructure projects.
