On Saturday, January 27th, SOM Design Partner Roger Duffy will speak at "City of Tomorrow," a real estate, architecture, and design summit. The event is produced by the 92nd Street Y and Hundred Stories.
Duffy will join a panel titled "Planes, Trains and Automobiles: Reimagining Penn Station, Grand Central, JFK, LaGuardia and the City’s Streets." Duffy and other panelists will discuss the improvement projects that are currently underway at some of New York City's major transportation centers. Panelists will share insight on how various large-scale overhauls and expansion projects—including the SOM-designed Moynihan Train Hall—will transform the city.
Joining Duffy on the panel will be Temoor Ahmad of Grimshaw and Anne Fletcher of HOK. Greg Lindsay of the New Cities Foundation will moderate the panel.
