On June 27th, 2017, Daniel R. Ringelstein and Gunnar Hand will represent SOM at the International Conference on Transport and Health in Barcelona, Spain. Ringelstein and Hand will lead a workshop on the firm's Regenerative Cities initiative.

BDP and SOM submitted their planning application for The Garden and Surplus Lands, a 57-acre regeneration of New Covent Garden Market in Central London. The multi-phased project is the single largest redevelopment scheme within the revitalization area.
