On July 11th, 2018, SOM's Peter Kindel will participate in a panel discussion at an event titled "Evolution of the San Francisco Peninsula." Hosted by Bisnow, the gathering will bring together commercial real estate owners, builders, investors, and designers to explore a variety of issues impacting the area.
Director of Urban Design and Planning Peter J. Kindel has relocated to SOM's San Francisco office from Hong Kong. In his new location, Kindel will lead the expansion of the firm's City Design Practice studios in San Francisco and Los Angeles.
SOM's Hong Kong office participated in the Coastal Cleanup Challenge, a volunteer event on November 25th, 2017. The group picked up trash found on the Pak Shui Wan beach in the Clear Water Bay area, making a local impact while raising awareness of environmental challenges.
