SOM's Hong Kong office participated in the Coastal Cleanup Challenge, a volunteer event on November 25th, 2017. The group picked up trash found on the Pak Shui Wan beach in the Clear Water Bay area, making a local impact while raising awareness of environmental challenges.
On November 29th, 2017, SOM Director of Urban Design and Planning Peter Kindel will join a panel discussion hosted by National Geographic. The event, titled “Urban Expeditions: Exploring Sustainable City Solutions,” is part of a larger two-year initiative.
