The Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat has recognized four SOM projects in its 2016 Tall Building Awards—two winners and two finalists. An independent review by a panel of experts, the awards provide a comprehensive assessment of important new structures while promoting improvements in performance.
On May 13th, 2016, SOM team members accepted six awards for five projects at the inaugural China Tall Building Awards. Organized by the China International Exchange Committee for Tall Buildings and the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat, the awards were presented at a ceremony in Shanghai.

Construction has completed on the twin towers that anchor the Jiangxi Nanchang Greenland Central Plaza, Parcel A project. The identical towers stand 303 meters tall and 100 meters apart to anchor an emerging business, civic, and residential zone in Nanchang’s booming new city.
