Pertamina Kicks off Tower Construction

State-owned oil and gas company PT Pertamina kicked off on Monday the construction of its landmark office building, the Pertamina Energy Tower. The 99-story building is being built on a 5.7-hectare plot in Rasuna Epicentrum in Kuningan, South Jakarta, and is said to signify the company’s goal of becoming a world-class energy company. The tower, which is designed to be 530 meters high, is expected to be completed by 2020.
