Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP (SOM) welcomes Julie Michiels, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP, as Associate Director and Interior Design Leader in its Chicago office. Michiels brings nearly two decades of experience as an architect, interior designer, and project leader, with an extensive portfolio which includes civic, residential, commercial, mixed-use, transportation, health, and education projects. In her new role, she will help lead the design approach for SOM’s global portfolio of interior projects.
