Manhattan West’s showpiece office tower is officially open for business.
The 67-story, 2.1 million square foot building at One Manhattan West opened Wednesday at the corner of Ninth Avenue and West 33rd Street. The Skidmore, Owings & Merrill-designed building is the first new office tower to open as part of Brookfield Properties’ eight-acre Manhattan West complex in the Special Hudson Yards District, the area whose 2005 rezoning fueled the construction boom the neighborhood’s now undergoing.
