the distinguished hotel chain four seasons has opened its doors in bahrain’s capital city manama. continuing its middle-eastern expansion, the hotel is designed by SOM architects, who are also involved in the bold master plan of the whole district. the completion of four seasons bahrain bay is the first of many programs to be erected in the area. constructed in a radial organization, the wider vision is for all the other buildings planned to articulate around this private man-made island where the hotel is situated. the 68-storey hotel acts as a striking gateway to the quickly evolving city, where guests arrive either by boat or by the bridge that is connected to the mainland.
