On Tuesday, September 26th, Luke Leung, SOM Director of Sustainable Engineering, will deliver a lecture to the Thailand Chapter of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE). Leung will explore a variety of topics within sustainable design, including SOM's sustainability scheme for the Burj Khalifa, net-zero buildings and net-zero districts, tall building design in the 21st century, and more. The presentation is part of a day-long technical seminar hosted by ASHRAE Thailand.
A member of ASHRAE's Distinguished Lecturer Program, Leung frequently presents on a variety of topics within sustainability and building design to the organization's chapters around the world. Leung also serves as a member of the ASHRAE Environmental Health Committee; as a member of the editorial team for ASHRAE handbooks on tall buildings; and as an adviser on ASHRAE sustainability legislation.
