Luke Leung to Speak as Distinguished Lecturer at ASHRAE Wisconsin Chapter

On Thursday, March 15th, SOM Director of Sustainable Engineering Luke Leung will speak as a distinguished lecturer ​at the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE). Leung will present a lecture titled "Live Long, Healthy and Low Energy" at the March Meeting of ASHRAE's Wisconsin chapter.

In his presentation, Leung will investigate how urban dwellers and their cities can boost life expectancy while lowering energy consumption. He will present a case study on Amish communities, along with a regression analysis conducted by SOM's sustainability team on urban dwellers' lifespans.

As Director of SOM's Sustainable Engineering and MEP studio, Leung plays a key role in the advancement of sustainable strategies at SOM. His projects include the Burj Khalifa, Beijing Finance Street, and the Zhengzhou Greenland Tower.
