LFA Building Sounds: Discovering Canary Wharf

The first episode of “Building Sounds,” a podcast created by London Festival of Architecture, explores the history of Canary Wharf through the architects and planners who have shaped the development of this commercial district across three decades. Described as “part podcast, part walking tour and part museum audio guide,” the program aims to provide an interactive experience for visitors to discover significant places in London.

Architect and urban planner Daniel Ringelstein was interviewed for the podcast, alongside a wide range of other designers involved in the planning and development of Canary Wharf. Ringelstein speaks about SOM’s role in shaping the master plan, which has guided the ongoing development of the district’s buildings and public spaces.
