Glassform’s prismatic glass development can be traced back to the design phase of the high-profile 1 World Trade Center. In 2007, Munz was approached by architect Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP to provide prismatic glass samples for the 1 WTC Tower podium. At the time, prismatic glass fabrication was not something Munz and his team had thought of. Now it’s an important part of their product offering, utilizing custom machinery and plenty of fabrication know-how.
