CTBUH Welcomes New Leaders in 2015 Including SOM’s Scott Duncan, Yue Zhu

The Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) has announced its new leaders for 2015, which will include SOM Design Partner, Scott Duncan, and Associate Director, Yue Zhu. The handover will take place at a leaders’ meeting on October 25th just before the CTBUH 2015 International Conference begins in New York.

Scott Duncan, AIA, LEED AP, was elected to serve on the CTBUH Advisory Group providing valuable guidance to its Board of Trustees and assisting in the Council’s specific initiatives. He brings to the group extensive experience in the design and implementation of complex tall building projects in Southeast Asia, India, and the Middle East, as well as the United States—including large-scale mixed-use, commercial, hospitality, and residential developments.

Yue Zhu, AIA, a Senior Technical Designer at SOM’s Chicago office, was elected to serve on the Expert Peer Review Committee where he will contribute his valuable insight to evaluate conference and journal papers and other research submissions. He has extensive experience and expertise in Chinese projects and supertall buildings, and is responsible for leading technical design for many high-profile, award-winning large-scale urban development projects in China.
