Cornell University has unveiled new renderings on its website for its 2.1-million-square-foot technology campus planned for Roosevelt Island. The designs come from Handel Architects, as well as Morphosis Architects’ Thom Mayne, SOM, and Weiss/Manfredi Architecture. Handel is behind the look of the first residential building, which is developed by the Hudson Companies and the Related Companies. Campus construction is expected to start early next year.
