On Tuesday, June 20th, SOM Design Partner Brian Lee will speak at the Chicago edition of Record on the Road, a symposium hosted by Architectural Record and the Chicago chapter of the American Institute of Architects. Lee will discuss his recent civic and public work, including the Chicago Public Library, Chinatown Branch. A new civic, educational, and social hub for the neighborhood, the award-winning library provides a public gathering place geared toward community activities and driven by technology-based learning.
Held at the Art Institute of Chicago, the event will be moderated by Architectural Record Features Editor Josephine Minutillo. Lee will be joined on the panel by leading designers from Studio Gang and Juan Gabriel Moreno Architects.
