A+U Magazine Publishes Special Issue on SOM

A+U, a monthly Japanese publication focused on architecture and urbanism, recently dedicated a full issue of its magazine to SOM. Released in February, the 169-page volume examines how SOM has continued its tradition of reinvention into the 21st century  not only in terms of its work, but also its organizational structure. As “One SOM,” the global firm has harmonized its approach to design and charged into a new era with increased collaboration among its offices. The bilingual issue, written in English and Japanese, features an introduction by architecture critic Nicholas Adams, 21 essays written by the Partners of SOM, and in-depth information about some of the firm’s most exciting projects around the world.
