Artwork for San Francisco's 350 Mission to Be Unveiled

A new parametric data sculpture by media artist Refik Anadol, titled Virtual Depictions: San Francisco, will christen 350 Mission’s 2,800-square-foot digital media wall at a private unveiling on Monday, November 16, 2015. This is the first work to be revealed by Kilroy Realty’s world class, ambitious public art initiative for 350 Mission.

The immersive public art installation was commissioned for the new 27-story building, which will be solely occupied by Salesforce. SOM’s design of the lobby focuses on the creation of an urban living room directly adjacent to the new Transbay Tower and Terminal, which is currently under construction. When the public lobby of 350 Mission opens to the public in 2016, the two-story space will be highly engaged with the urban realm of downtown San Francisco, animated by a café, restaurant, and the 40-foot-tall LED canvas. The screen will be visible to passersby on the street and appear as clear as a high definition television.
