The SOM Women’s Initiative (SOMWI) invites undergraduate and graduate students to apply for its annual Shadowing Opportunity. Now in its eighth year, the four-day winter program provides experience, mentorship, and guidance to talented students planning to pursue careers in architecture, engineering, or related fields.
From January 8th to 11th, 2019, selected students will rotate through various departments at SOM to gain a well-rounded perspective on the firm's work and the day-to-day experience of design professionals.
Shadowing opportunities are currently available in each of SOM's North American offices. Applications are due by 4 p.m. EST on Monday, November 26th, 2018. Candidates will be selected by a committee based on portfolio submissions and resumes. Invitations to participate will be sent out beginning in mid-December.
