Mr. Magill joined SOM in 1981 and has over 25 years of experience in the management of architecture and interior projects in the United States and internationally. His wide range of experience includes a variety of large scale master planning, educational, and medical institution projects. These projects include work throughout the United States and Europe, with many projects in New York City.

Mr. Magill brings a diverse background ranging from institutional facilities, mixed-use commercial developments to offices, residential, hotel, retail, and healthcare projects.

Mr. Magill served as managing partner for such complex and diverse projects as Canary Wharf in London, England; Conrad Hotel in Cairo, Egypt; and the Courthouse Square in Arlington, Virginia. His extensive corporate experience includes work for First Union; Bank of America; Lucent Technologies; CIBC Oppenheimer; Piper Jaffray Companies; The Chase Manhattan Bank; Bloomberg; and Gruner + Jahr.
