Tyrol Tower

Wörgl, Austria

The high-rise Tyrol Tower was intended to become both a landmark and rest-stop for the 45,000 drivers who pass through the Tyrolean village of Wörgl daily. The concept design proposes two hotels, restaurants, offices, residential units, and a casino, and offers spectacular views of the valley and surrounding mountains. The faceted curtain walls were inspired by the cut crystals produced in the region.
