SOM’s design for an efficient, Class A office headquarters building on the north bank of the River Liffey, in the city's financial district, proposes a distinctive silhouette for the emerging Dublin skyline. The bifurcation of the upper floors of the tower allows for light to penetrate the glazed incision, whilst increasing air flow to the floorplates and creating a dynamic shape for the tower. The building is oriented to maximise views towards Dublin, the expanding Docklands and the Irish Sea.
