SOM received a grant to work with Chicago’s Museum of Science and Industry to create a prototype for the electronic classroom of the future. The 1,700 square-foot E-Suite was designed to explore the optimal look, shape, and feel of a learning space that could enable remote learning and encourage dialogue at a distance.
