Milliken WAY Carpet Design
United States
SOM Graphics designed three individual carpet patterns derived from the random graphic appearance of landscape, traffic, and water. The tiles are produced through high-definition printing and formatted in standard 36-by-36 inch tiles. The system turns the floor plane into an unpredictable terrain by combining and turning the individual squares within each of the design sets. As the coverage area increases, so do the layout options.
For example: 36 carpet modules = 324 square feet and can produce up to 708,801,874,985,091,871,059,713,597,986,849,161,216 layout options.
