Unilever commissioned SOM to design the curtain wall remediation for one of its historic icons, Lever House, located at 390 Park Avenue in midtown Manhattan. Under the guidelines of the New York City Landmarks Commission, materials and systems were replaced with state-of-the-art solutions in modern wall technology that preserve this modern landmark while maintaining its original appearance.
