With over 27 years of experience as an architect and project manager, Charles Hasbrouck acts as the firm’s liaison with clients and consultants, works with project teams on a day to day basis, and ensures that the firm’s services are accomplished in a professional and timely manner. He takes a collaborative approach to architecture and is known for his ability to understand and address different agendas, while delivering projects that maintain a high standard of design excellence. He believes that listening to others and understanding their points of view, informs and enhances our designs.
Mr. Hasbrouck has successfully managed multidisciplinary teams on numerous complex projects. His experience ranges from mixed use, office and residential buildings, to transit stations and performing arts centers. This diverse portfolio of projects, along with his hands on experience in development, has given him an in-depth understanding of the interrelationships between the design, construction and real estate industries.
Mr. Hasbrouck first joined SOM in 1985, where he worked as a planner and senior designer before moving into project management. He continues to manage architectural and planning projects today, both in the United States and overseas.
