Brant E. Coletta

AIA, Managing Director

Brant E. Coletta is a managing director with the New York office of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, LLP. Mr. Coletta joined the Washington DC office of SOM as a designer in 1997 before transferring to the New York office as a project manager. During his time at SOM, Brant has overseen the planning and design of a wide range of project types including large scale master plans, mixed-use and commercial office buildings, residential condominiums, hospitality developments, retail developments and financial trading floors. He has completed projects throughout the United States, France, Italy, Brazil, Costa Rica, United Kingdom, South Korea, Germany and Kazakhstan.

Brant continually strives to maintain SOM’s long-standing tradition of sustainable design in architecture and planning. He believes that today’s successful designers must be increasingly aware of each development’s unique sociological, environmental and economic responsibilities. Fully understanding these responsibilities ultimately reveals vast design opportunities available to the designer, developer and client to increase a project’s true value regardless of the ever-changing rating systems and evolving popular trends.

Brant is currently managing the eco-sensitive DMC Landmark Super Tower in Seoul, Korea as well as the Busan Lotte Town super tower in Busan, Korea. He most recently oversaw the completion of the 101 Warren Street condominium complex and the master planning of five city blocks of former industrial power plant sites adjacent to the United Nations Headquarters in New York City.
